Hettstedt

The small town Hettstedt is situated at the southeastern edge of the Harz mountains in the heart of the district of Mansfeld - South Harz, Saxony-Anhalt and thus in the middle of Germany. The city is easily accessible by various transport links.

Through the federal- and state roads Hettstedt is connected to the national and regional transport network. Thus, there are not far from Hettstedt the connection points to the A14 (Magdeburg - Halle / Leipzig - Dresden; Plötzkau junction) and the A38 (junction Eisleben).

The highways B180 and B86 are in urban areas with rural roads L152 and L158 connected.

But Hettstedt can also be reached by train. The main station ist situated in the heart of Hettstedt, with direct connections to the railway line Magdeburg - Sangerhausen - Erfurt.
