The St. - Jakobi - Church shapes the silhouette of Hettstedt like no other building. The church burned down in 1697 and the reconstruction with the baroque vault started in 1706. The last conversion of the church was in 1905, when a new organ, a new gallery, new windows and a new clock give the building today’s complexion. The church is 63 m tall. |
